TREC GB recognises that, the welfare of the child, young person and adult at risk is paramount and that all children, young people, and adults at risk regardless of race, gender, religious belief, age, sexual orientation, or identity have a right to equal protection from harm.

TREC GB have adopted a Safeguarding Policy that:

  • highlights how TREC GB undertakes its legal commitments in the field of safeguarding children, young people, and adults at risk;
  • gives assurance to trustees and members that there are clear arrangements in place to safeguard and protect children, young people, and adults at risk; and
  • ensures there are clear guidelines for when a child, young person or adult at risk may be at risk of harm.

All Members of TREC GB are recommended to complete the Level 2 Safeguarding Module available (free) in the TREC section of Equitoolz at https://www.equitoolz.com/
